TOPUSKO, May 17 (Hina) - The International Organisation of Migration (IOM) will invest US$380,000 in the building of an 8.5 kilometres of water supply system via Topusko-Velika Vranovina-Ponikvari, about 65 kilometres south of Zagreb.
IOM representative Martin Wyss and Topusko municipality head Ivan Abramovic signed an agreement on partnership on Monday. They stressed that the waterworks would accelerate the return of displaced persons to over 200 reconstructed houses in the villages. Abramovic congratulated and thanked representatives of the IOM, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Croatian Government, and the Sisak-Moslavina County for their support in reaching the agreement.
