ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - The Croatian Radio Television (HTV) Council on Monday elected Obrad Kosovac to be the editor-in-chief of the Croatian Television (HTV). Eleven members of the HRT council voted for Kosovac, who has so far been
the editor of the information and documentary programme. Three member abstained in the vote, while four members opposed this proposal made by the HRT Director Ivica Vrkic. One member of the council left Monday's session before the voting. Obrad Kosovac's mandate will last four years. Ten bids arrived at the HTV for the position of HTV editor-in-chief. The public bidding started on April 6. One of the offers was from the current acting editor-in-chief, Hloverka Novak-Srzic.(hina) lml
