HDZ TO INTRODUCE NEW MOTIONS ALONG WITH KNOWN ONES - SEKS

ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - President of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) parliamentary bench, Vladimir Seks, confirmed talks between the ruling HDZ and the Opposition Six would continue on Monday, May 17. Talks will continue regarding a contentious issue -- the way of election and running as candidates of Croatian citizens who do not have residences in Croatia, Seks said after a meeting with the Opposition Six coordinator, Luka Trconic. The HDZ will introduce new motions, as well as the already known ones, Seks said. He refused to describe the new motions. Asked whether the HDZ would insist on the idea that MPs from the diaspora should be elected in a special electoral unit, Seks said the party would have certain variations of the suggestion, but the issue would be discussed more concretely on Monday. Concerning the possible date of the elections, Seks reiterated the HDZ did not say they would be held on December

Regarding a suggestion by the Opposition that, if the elections should take place in December, they should be held in the middle of the month, Seks said this was a suggestion by a part of the Opposition and it should be discussed.
