ZAGREB, Apr 27 (Hina) - Poland's ambassador to Croatia on Tuesday decorated on behalf of Polish President Aleksandar Kwasniewski nine Croatian citizens for merits in improving Croatian-Polish relations. Croatia's Ambassador to Poland
Ivan Berlic was decorated for his enormous contribution to bringing Croatia and Poland closer, the late Bronislawa Calczynska-Prasek and her son Wojciech for helping Polish officers during World War Two, while Wojciech's brother Wladyslav was decorated for his contribution to the improvement of Croatian-Polish relations. Ljubomir Kucic was decorated for improving economic relations between the two countries, while the first president of the Croatian-Polish Society, Walentyna Loncaric, was decorated for improving interpersonal relations.
