WASHINGTON, April 27 (Hina) - The first, very informative and well designed tourist guide to Croatia was published in the United States, and it has already become a hit on the US market. About 5,400 potential visitors have already
bought the brochure through a web bookshop. The author of the booklet, Jeanne Oliver, an American living in France, has invested commendable efforts in gathering and publishing as much as possible interesting and useful information. On some 300 pages, the brochure presents almost everything: from the address and phone number of a privately-owned mansion in Trogir (central Adriatic) to suggestions on the most favourable air, bus or railway lines to Croatia from abroad. Or, from a warning to US citizens that commas are used instead of points in decimals to a very easy-to-survey chronology of key events in the Homeland War (1991-1995). The booklet was published
