The concentration camp in Jasenovac was the largest execution site in Croatia for Serbs, Jews and Romanies, but also for many Croats who were members of the anti-fascist movement, the Association's president Ivan Fumic told reporters in Zagreb on Thursday. The Independent State of Croatia (NDH) was not an independent but a puppet state of the Nazi Germany, Fumic said, adding it was wrong to brandish the Croat people as Nazis because the majority of the Croat people were members of the anti-fascist movement.
