ZADAR, April 9 (Hina) - The ship "Bella Victoria" of the Galapagos Maritime company, sailing under the Honduran flag, was grounded near the central Adriatic island of Sestrunja, in the Zadar archipelago, on Thursday afternoon. The
ship was transporting European community's humanitarian aid for Kosovo Albanians, including 1,900 tones of flour. The aid was to be unloaded in the Albanian port of Drac. Local fishermen spotted the ship in straits and reported to the Zadar Harbour Authority. Maritime safety inspectors, harbour authority workers, and a tug boat of Split's company "Brodospas" arrived to the site to offer assistance. The tugging of the ship has not started yet for, according to the ship's crew, the price for the service has not yet been set. The ship's crew of 12 are all of Albanian citizenship.
