KONCAR'S SALES UP THIS YEAR

ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) - Companies from the Koncar Group sold products and services in the first two months of this year in excess of US$29.5 million, 41.6 per cent more than in the same period last year, but only 84.2 per cent of what had been planned, the concern's representatives said on Tuesday. Companies from the business field of energy (producing generators and equipment, power transmission and distribution) earned US$18 million, or 69.7 per cent more than in the same period last year, and 91 per cent of what had been planned. Companies in this business area of industry (producing electric motors, tools, elevators etc) have earned a revenue 68 per cent of what had been planned, and eight per cent more in comparison to January and February of last year.
