BELGRADE, March 30 (Hina) - The Yugoslav public is expecting a response of the federal government to a proposal by the Serbian Justice Minister Dragoljub Jankovic on introducing capital punishment. The Yugoslav Government has the
right to adopt regulations with legal force during the state of war. Jankovic did not say to which criminal acts capital punishment would apply. A Belgrade professor of constitutional law, Kosta Cavoski, told the news agency Beta on Tuesday capital punishment in Yugoslavia could be introduced by annulling an article from the Yugoslav Constitution which forbids capital punishment.
