HUNGARIAN NATIONAL HOLIDAY MARKED IN LASLOVO

LASLOVO-Politika HUNGARIAN NATIONAL HOLIDAY MARKED IN LASLOVO LASLOVO, March 13 (Hina) - Croatian President's Advisor for Political Issues, Vesna Skare-Ozbolt and the Hungarian Ambassador to Croatia, Gyogry Csoti, on Friday visited the eastern Croatian town of Laslovo on the occasion of the 151st anniversary of the Hungarian revolution. Relations between Croatia and Hungary are traditionally good, and this is confirmed with the joint fight for the homes of both Hungarians and Croatians in Laslovo, Skare-Ozbolt said. Basic conditions for the return of displaced persons to the town must be met as soon as possible, she added. Csoti expressed satisfaction that the biggest Hungarian holiday is being celebrated by the Hungarian minority in the free and integral Croatia. Prior to the Homeland War, the town's residents were mostly Hungarian. Most of the residents of Laslovo had been exiled in the war.(hina) lml
