ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - The Tourism Ministry will set aside some US$29 million to stimulate the quality and availability of the tourist offer this season. This year's budget envisages a better allocation of resources to hotels,
private accommodation and camping sites, Croatian Tourism Minister Sergej Morsan told reporters on Tuesday. The Tourism Ministry's budget has increased by 345 per cent in relation to the year 1995, while the entire government budget has increased by 71 per cent in comparison to the same year. This shows that we set aside an increasing amount of funds for tourism every year, Morsan said. A novelty is ensuring finds for the development of small-scale businesses and the additional professional training for caterers.
