SPLIT, Feb 20 (Hina) - Zoran Dozdor, 32, the third accused in the Maglov case and wanted in Croatia since the autumn of 1997, surrendered to Split police on Friday afternoon. An indictment, issued at the Split County Court on 15
January 1998, alleged that Dozdor in league with Zeljko Maglov, 39, and Ranko Rapajic, 39, had smuggled posh cars, stolen abroad, from April 1995 to September 1997. The trio abused the authorities of the military police to arrange smuggling of stolen cars from third countries via Croatia into Bosnia-Herzegovina where they used to be sold. In September 1997 they were apprehended and taken into custody. After being released on bail, they escaped. The prime suspect Maglov was caught on 10 January while Rapajic is still on the run.
