DUBROVNIK CONFERENCE DUBROVNIK, Feb 15 (Hina) - The International Parachuting Commission (IPC) finished its 50th conference in Dubrovnik on Sunday evening. The conference, gathering about 100 participants from 38 countries, was held
in that southern Croatian town from 10 to 14 February, under the chairmanship of the IPC President Claude Gillard. The Dubrovnik sessions revolved around the development of the IPC, which is the parachuting arm of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI), and the promotion of the IPC in the media. Leaders of this international federation thanked once again the Croatian Aeronautique Association (HZS) for the excellent organisation of the 24th world skydiving competition in the Croatian town of Vrasar last September.(hina) mm ms
