PRISTINA, Jan 31 (Hina) - Two Pristina-based dailies in the Albanian language reported on Sunday about the Skopje talks between British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook and three Kosovo Albanian leaders saying that ethnic Albanians were
in principle in favour of negotiations. "Kosova Sot" said Albanian representatives- Ibrahim Rugova, Adem Demaqi and Rexhep Qosija - had not been together at talks with Cook last night. The newspaper quoted Cook as saying that he had come with a clear and correct offer - autonomy for Kosovo and a UN Security Council-backed agreement on the resolution of Kosovo. The other daily "Koha Ditore" quoted Rugova as saying that the talks with Cook were very positive and that Kosovo Albanians would participate in the forthcoming negotiations.(hina) ms
