Present at Friday's donation ceremony in Vukovar were Sime Vidulin, one of Istrian artists whose paintings were sold, and Jean Claude Dumont, the president of the French humanitarian society "Ahitie coucy le chateau Croatia", who organised several actions with an aim to help the war-affected Croatian towns. Ambassador Girardi-Jurkic laid a wreath at the Stone Cross at the
mouth of the river Vuka into the Danube.
