HR-DEFENCE & NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 315 HINA ZAGREB, JANUARY 19 DEFENCE & NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL ON BANKS & DEBTS IN ECONOMYZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - The Croatian Defence and National Security Council on Tuesday held a session chaired by Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, the President's Office said in a statement. Discussing the situation in the banking system, the Council expressed dissatisfaction with the incompletely implemented decisions and conclusions of bodies of executive authority with regard to ways of settling the situation and determining responsibility in banks plunged into difficulties through negligent business. The Council was especially dissatisfied with the fact that parties responsible for bringing banks into crisis had still not been tried.
