These registered films by their showing at Croatian Film Days and the Croatian Film Festival in Pula. The information is reliable for movies, experimental and animated films, while that for others is not quite as reliable as they have no systematic way of registry. According to editor Majcen, the problem seems to be that Croatia does not have an established system of a reliable coverage of cinematography and there is no institution which would deal with gathering information about recent events in Croatian cinematography. The Croatian Cinema Archive, in charge of preserving Croatia's film heritage, covers this only partially by issuing a year manual, but results are incomplete due to insufficient personnel and finances.
