SARAJEVO, Dec 29 (Hina) - A candidate of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia-Herzegovina (SDP), Sead Avdic, was on Friday elected speaker of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Assembly House of Representatives. Elections for the new Assembly
were held in November. Bosnian Serb Zeljko Mirjanic and Bosnian Croat Mariofil Ljubic were elected deputy speakers. Avdic, a co-founder of the SDP, said after his election that the results of recent general elections had created preconditions for a change in the overall atmosphere in Bosnia-Herzegovina in a way which would not be restricted by narrow nationalist interest.(hina) lml
