CROATIAN MINISTER PACEK ENDS OFFICIAL VISIT TO NETHERLANDS

ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - Croatian Minister for Crafts, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Zeljko Pacek was in an official visit to the Netherlands between December 12 to 15, at the invitation of the Dutch Trade Minister Gerrit Yobem. During the visit to the Netherlands, the Croatian delegation was introduced to institutions and models of the encouragement of the development of small entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. The officials also discussed Holland's investments in Croatia. According to the Croatian Crafts, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Ministry, since 1997 the Netherlands invested over one million Dutch Guilders in Croatia's entrepreneurship. According to a recently signed declaration between the two countries a framework for the further cooperation in the promotion of small entrepreneurship in Croatia has been defined. In line with the declaration, between 2001 and 2003, the Netherlands will invest another million Dutch Guilders in the development of small entrepreneurship in Croatia. Minister Yobem said Holland would give its institutional support to Croatia's activities in the promotion of the development of small entrepreneurship. (hina) it
