ZAGREB, Dec 14 (Hina) - The European parliament on Thursday endorsed a resolution welcoming the progress in relations between Croatia and the international community, head of Croatia's mission to the European Union Vladimir Drobnjak
said in an interview for Croatian Television Thursday evening. "The resolution was passed by 510 votes, almost unanimously, and it is the best introduction to negotiations which are to start on Monday", Drobnjak said. Croatia is to start the first round of negotiations on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement in Brussels on Monday. Croatia signed a document on the beginning of negotiations on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement at the Zagreb Summit on November 24. Drobnjak also expressed satisfaction with head of the European Commissioner for foreign affairs Chris Patten's speach on Croatia held in the European parliament.(hina) it
