Croatians supported them. "I think we may expect that international political factors will understand the stances the Croatian Government took in connection with cooperation" with the Hague tribunal, the minister said. The most important points to stress are individualisation of guilt, i.e. an individual's liability for a committed crime, he stressed. cooperation with UN's war crimes tribunal in The Hague, and that he
was confident the majority of Croatians supported them.
"I think we may expect that international political factors will
understand the stances the Croatian Government took in connection
with cooperation" with the Hague tribunal, the minister said.

i.e. an individual's liability for a committed crime, he stressed.
The stances the government recently adopted have a definite

He spoke in comment on today's statement by the Hague tribunal's
deputy chief prosecutor Graham Blewitt, who said the Croatian
government was familiar with the names of people the tribunal
suspected and would investigate for crimes committed during Storm,
a 1995 military operation in which Croatia liberated its then Serb-
occupied territories.
Jakovcic stressed, however, "the government did not discuss
names."
