ZAGREB, Dec 11 (Hina) - The director of the national television (HRT) sees no reason to resign as, he said on Monday, the HRT Council and a large portion of the public have assessed that HRT's programme has improved, while financial losses have been cut considerably. According to today's papers, the vice president of HSLS, the second strongest party in the ruling six-party coalition, requested that Galic should be replaced immediately over, according to the papers, "biased reporting about the GRUPO scandal on HTV (Croatian Television). HSLS' Djurdja Adlesic declined to comment on the allegations, saying it was her legitimate right, as any other citizens', to voice her discontent with the national television's work.
