ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - Croatia wishes to give its contribution to the world by a gradual approach to the realisation of human rights aiming at upgrading the dignity of human life, Croatian Vice Premier Zeljka Antunovic said in a
statement issued on the occasion of the Day of Human Rights, December 10. The Day of Human Rights is being marked each year in memory of the passing of the General Declaration on Human Rights at a session of the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948. Croatia is adjusting its legislation to the highest international standards by creating conditions for integration with countries of the European Union, Antunovic added.
