ZAGREB, Dec 2 (hina) - Thirteen Croatian innovators won golden medals at two international exhibitions of innovations and new technologies, IENA and EUREKA, and the medals were presented to them at Friday's ceremony organised by the
Croatian Association of Innovators (HSI). The awards reconfirm a great reputation of Croatian innovators and Croatia is recognised as a partner-country to technologically developed countries, it was stressed at a ceremony. At the 52nd world exhibition of innovations, new technologies and products, held in Nuerberg between November 2 and 5, the Croatian innovators presented 24 innovations. Fifteen innovations were awarded with three gold, seven silver and five bronze medals. The youngest innovators, students of the Mato Lovrak elementary school, Kristijan Sekulic and Hrvoje Samija, both 13 years old, along with bronze medals also received a special award of the Austrian

At the 52nd world exhibition of innovations, new technologies and

The exhibition was attended by 800 innovators from 32 countries who
presented 650 innovations.
At the 49th international exhibition of innovations and new
technologies, Brussels Eureka, held between November 14 and 20,
1,200 innovations from 35 countries were presented. The Croatian
innovators received ten gold, nine silver and six bronze medals,
eight certificates four knight titles, namely a total of 37
awards.
The performance of Croatian innovators at the two exhibitions was
organised by the Croatian Association of Innovators with the
support of the Croatian Ministry for Crafts, Small and Medium
entrepreneurship.
