The protesters request consistent implementation of the Law on Mine Removal and adequate legal protection, declaring mine removal an activity of special state concern and its exemption from Value Added Tax, providing for mine removal experts who lose their powers, a double early retirement plan, and the possibility of retirement after 10 years of service in line with special regulations. They also request the regular payment of their salaries, which must not be lower than three average salaries on the state level.
