On behalf of the Croatian president, a wreath was laid by the head of the military cabinet, Kresimir Kaspar. On parliament's behalf, deputy speaker Zdravko Tomac paid respect to soldiers who were killed defending Vukovar in 1991. On behalf of the government, the respect was by Deputy Prime Minister Zeljka Antunovic.
