OGULIN, Nov 16 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Jozo Rados on Thursday said he would offer his mandate to Prime Minister Ivica Racan due to this morning's explosion in the "Sveti Petar" military barracks in Ogulin. The head of the
Croatian Armed Forces Main Staff, General Petar Stipetic, said he had suspended the entire command - from the commander of the barracks to the instructor. The accident ocurred at 9.18 hours Thursday, during the regular procedure of weapons-cleaning which took place in a room with explosive devices. Four soldiers were heavily wounded and another seventeen suffered light injuries. A commission has been established to carry out an inquiry. Results of the investigation are expected very soon, Rados and Stipetic told reporters after visiting the injured soldiers.(hina) it jn.
