"(Yugoslav) President Kostunica paid a courtesy call to Sarajevo

talks about concrete issues," the source said.
Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have never established
diplomatic relations although the signing of the Dayton agreement
meant the recognition of independence and sovereignty of the two
countries.
During the rule of Slobodan Milosevic, the Yugoslav authorities
refused to open talks on the establishment of diplomatic relations
asking that Bosnia-Herzegovina first withdraw a claim on
aggression and genocide it had filed against the Belgrade
authorities to the International Court of Justice in The Hague in
1993.
These requests have been and are still supported by the Bosnian Serb
leadership.
