ZAGREB, Oct 31 (Hina) - The 16th World Petroleum Congress (WPC), held in the capital of Canada's province of Alberta, Calgary, was attended by about 3,000 participants from 59 countries, including Croatia. Croatia's oilmen have been
members of the WPC since 1991. At the congress in 1991, held in Buenos Aires, Croatian representatives came as a part of a Yugoslav delegation. At the congress, they requested a formal recognition of the Croatian national committee. Since then, Croatia's oilmen are participating in the WPC work.(hina) it
