ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) - Reconstruction works on a 200-metre-long railway section between Plaski and Blato on the Zagreb-Split railway line, damaged in an accident on October 14, were completed on Thursday. The speed limit at the
section, which runs through Croatia's central region Lika, was 50 kilometres per hour yesterday, the Croatian Railway reported on Friday. After the accident, which occurred when a train derailed, workers repaired the section for traffic with the speed limit of 20 km per hour. The complete reconstruction of the section started on Monday, October 23, and the railway was restored to the level before the accident yesterday.
