CRO AIRLINES WINTER TIMETABLE: FLIGHTS FIVE TIMES A WEEK TO BRUSSELS

ZAGREB, Oct 25 (Hina) - Croatia Airlines on Wednesday presented its winter flight schedule which becomes effective on October 29 and which includes, among else, direct flights five times a week from Zagreb to Brussels, Belgium's capital and the seat of the European Union. Croatia Airlines expects to register one millionth passenger in mid-November, which is the first time the company has registered more than one million passengers annually, marketing director Svemir Radmilo said. A total of 941,000 passengers travelled with Croatia Airlines by October 21, which is more than in the entire 1999 (921,000). Croatia Airlines planes will fly to Brussels on working days, with links to Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, Zadar, Skoplje, Sarajevo and Mostar. In line with a contract with Lufthansa, Croatia Airlines planes will fly from Zagreb to Frankfurt three times a day, and Lufthansa planes will fly to Zagreb once a day on working days. Croatian airliners will continue flying to Frankfurt twice a day on weekends. Croatia Airlines has introduced an additional flight to Paris on Saturdays, which means that planes will be flying to the French capital seven days a week. (hina) rml
