"Lately I have been the subject of great torture and lynching by
media, which has been very difficult for me. I am crushed and tired.
I left the position of the coach in order to gain peace. Last night I
had a big crisis and thought I was going to die", Blazevic told
Hina.
He stressed he had the privilege of coaching the Croatian National
Football Team, adding that the third team of the Coup du Monde made
over DM40 million while he was coach.
Croatian Football Federation President Vlatko Markovic tried to
convince Blazevic of the suddenness of his decision, but failed.
After the talks, Blazevic stuck to his decision.
"This moment is very difficult for me", Markovic said, adding the
Croatian Football Federation's Executive Committee is to start a
session at noon Tuesday to either accept or refuse Blazevic's
resignation.
