ZAGREB, Oct 23 (Hina) - Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic will attend a summit of the South East European Co-operation Process (SEECP), to begin in Skoplje on Wednesday, the Government's public relations office
reported. The Office of the Croatian President confirmed that President Stipe Mesic would not travel to Skoplje sue to a previously arranged visit to Germany on October 26. High state officials from Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia will attend the Skoplje summit. Also expected is the new Yugoslav president Vojislav Kostunica and the main coordinator of the Stability Pact for South-East Europe, Bodo Hombach. The SEECP was formed in 1996 with the purpose to establish cooperation, stability and security in the region. Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have observer status in the organisation.(hina) rml
