TRADING WITH 'RIGHTS' AT VTV FOR FIRST TIME

VARAZDIN, Oct 16 (Hina) - The trading with the rights to the allocation of certain shares from the Croatian Privatisation Fund's (HFP) portfolio was conducted at the Varazdin Stock Exchange on Monday for the first time. The shares are intended for the coverage of capital expenditure of the Public Works and Reconstruction Ministry, i.e. for the debts the ministry has towards construction firms. The turnover of 220.8 thousand kuna was achieved with the sale of 420,000 'rights' at the 56.80 percent of their nominal value. The entire volume of the business at this market today came to 1,989,666 kuna and the value of the official index (VIN) rose by 0.64 percent to 347.8 points. The largest part in the entire volume of business was made with the trading with over 15,000 shares of the Karlovacka printing house at the price of 100 kuna.
