VUKOVAR HOSPITAL IN WAR AND PEACE ENDS VUKOVAR, Oct 13 (Hina) - A one-day seminar, entitled "Vukovar Hospital in War and Peace", organised on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the work of the Vukovar Hospital at its current
location, ended on Friday with a closing speech by the hospital's director, Dr Vesna Bosanac. The seminar gathered doctors and medical staff who had worked in the hospital in its most difficult days, during the Serb siege of the town. According to Bosanac, apart from marking the hospital's anniversary, the purpose of the seminar was also to encourage the Croatian public and those who can provide assistance to help reconstruct the heavily-damaged building and assess the importance of the hospital for Vukovar and its defence. wreaths and lit candles at a monument erected in their memory.
