ZAGREB, Sept 29 (Hina) - The Croatian ship 'Razanj', which along with its crew was held up in the Israeli port of Ashdod due to debts and non-possession of numerous documents necessary for navigation, was sold at an auction to a Greek
company at a price of US$140,000 on Wednesday. The ship was sold in line with a decision by the Israeli District Court in Haifa and the procedure of ownership transfer is underway, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The auction was attended by the crew's attorney, the ship's captain and a representative from the Croatian embassy in Israel. The embassy believes the crew will be able to return to Croatia in some ten days.(hina) rml
