realise an income of four million kuna, Croatian Radio Television (HRT) said in a statement on Thursday. The HTV started broadcasting the programme HRT National on October 1 1999. The coded broadcasts, which ran from 5pm to midnight, could be watched only by about 10,000 owners of HTV satellite cards. Broadcast were mostly programmes which had already been broadcast on some of HTV's three channels. The discontinuation of the satellite programme does not mean that subscribers will lose money - they will continue watching the other three HTV channels via the digital satellite Hot Bird.
