SIMUNDJA'S REMAINS ARRIVE IN SPLIT

SPLIT SPLIT, Sept 20 (Hina) - The remains of Pero Simundja, an employee of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) killed in West Timor on September 6 were transferred to Split by aircraft fro Timor. Simundja was killed in a carnage by pro-Indonesian police in Timor. He will be buried at the Split cemetery Lovrinac on Thursday. The parents and brother of Pero Simundja wished a private ceremony and had requested through the UNHCR for funds intended for the buying of wreaths, flowers and newspaper eulogies to be allocated for humanitarian purposes, for the purchase of medical equipment for the Split hospital's cardiology and oncology departments. Domestic currency and foreign currency savings accounts have been opened at the Split bank for this purpose, the numbers being 10-21-25814-8 (domestic currency savings account) and 21-21-24211-5 (foreign currency savings account).
