ZAGREB, Aug 30 (Hina) - Croatian Minister for European Integration Ivan Jakovcic spoke at Wednesday's symposium called "European Forum Alpbach" on the process of European integration with Croatia and Croatia's chances to join the
European Union. Croatia insists on the European Union's individual approach to each country in the region in the process of joining the European Union, Jakovcic stressed. Croatia is willing to cooperate with countries in the region of Southeast Europe, however, Jakovcic stressed, it did not wish to share the fate of the region if the region was falling behind in relations with the European Union. Also, he added, Croatia wished to be ready for joining the European Union by the year 2006.
