GORNJA RADGONA, Aug 26 (Hina) - Slovene and Croatian Agriculture Ministers, Ciril Smrkoljak and Bozidar Pankretic respectively, on Saturday signed a memorandum on cooperation in the Slovene town of Gornja Radgona which is hosting the
38th international agricultural fair. The document, which took effect immediately, stirs up technological and other kinds of co-operation in agriculture, food processing industry, fishing and forestry. Chief objectives of such co-operation will be to stimulate the two countries to exchange data on technological achievements and methods which contribute to progress in the food-processing industry as well as to advance scientific co-operation. The fair in Gornja Radgona was opened on Saturday by Slovenia's President Milan Kucan. It has drawn 1,500 exhibitors from 26 countries, who are displaying their products and services at over 50,000 square metres

The fair in Gornja Radgona was opened on Saturday by Slovenia's

Some of Croatian firms that are taking part in this event are
Vindija, Lura, Dukat, Sirela, Kras, INA and Petrokemija. Two of
them - Vindija and Lura - have won several gold, silver and bronze
medals for their dairy produce.
