MAKARSKA UNDER CONTROL MAKARSKA, Aug 21 (Hina) - A fire broke out in a pine forest near the southern Croatian coastal town of Makarska at about 10.30 pm Monday. Local firefighters acted promptly and managed to put the blaze under
control shortly after 11.00 pm. They are still patrolling the burnt area. Owing to the fire, a local transmission line had to be switched off and a part of Makarska was without power supplies.(hina) ms
