ZAGREB ZAGREB, Aug 20 (Hina) - A delegation of the Assembly of the Japanese town of Kioto on Sunday visited Zagreb. Members of the delegation visited the Croatian National Theatre under the organisation by the Croatian-Japanese
Friendship Association. They are also scheduled to visit Zagreb's mayor Milan Bandic. Head of the Kioto delegation, Taiichiro Takahashi, surprise with the overwhelming heat in Zagreb and wish that the friendship between the two towns become even better. The friendship pact between the two towns originated in 1981 when they signed a friendship cooperation charter. President of the Croatian-Japanese Friendship Association Slobodan Elezovic expressed wish that the cooperation between Zagreb and Kioto improve in science, culture, art, economy, education and sports.(hina) lml
