MOTOVUN FILM FESTIVAL MOTOVUN, Aug 6 (Hina) - British director Stephen Daldry's film "Billy Elliot" won the Motovun Propeller award Saturday night at the end of the Motovun Film Festival. Since Tuesday 82 films were shown in Motovun,
and the five-member panel of judges chose the winner among 14 films from the main programme. In the selection of 11 Croatian documentaries, the Kodak award for best cameraman went to Radislav Jovanov for the film "Cubismo Turismo", while the Synchro Studio from Vienna awarded the film "Juric tvrdja 1999" directed by Zvonimir Juric. An award was also handed to the film "Aurora" directed by Klara Lopez-Rubio, competing for the best short on-line film which viewers could watch and give points to on the Internet.(hina) lml
