POLICE REPORT INCREASED TRAFFIC ON BORDER WITH BOSNIA, YUGOSLAVIA

VINKOVIC, July 31 (Hina) - Over the last weekend, 47,757 persons, including 30,309 foreign nationals, entered Croatia from Bosnia-Herzegovina via the border crossing at Zupanja. A total of 15,956 Croatian and 30,805 foreign nationals left Croatia via Zupanja. According to a Vukovar-Srijem County border police deputy superintendent Ivan Groznica, there have been no delays at the border pass despite the intensified traffic. A total of 8,900 passengers, of whom 580 Croatian citizens, entered Croatia over the last weekend via the border pass of Bajakovo, on the border with Yugoslavia, whereas 39,167 foreign nationals (mostly Turks travelling to their homeland for holidays) left Croatia over the same border pass.
