PULA FILM FESTIVAL OPENED PULA, July 28 (Hina) - The film festival "Pula 2000" was opened in the northern Adriatic town of Pula on Thursday night. Seven films are to be shown at the festival. Following the opening ceremony, the
audience saw the animated film "Kljucanje (Pecking)" by Ana Marija Vidakovic, followed by Vinko Bresan's film "Marsal (The Marshall)" and "Je li jasno, prijatelju (Is It Understood, Pal)" by Dejan Acimovic. The ceremony was attended by Croatian President Stipe Mesic, under whose auspices the festival is being held, and other high state officials.(hina) rml
