The Humanitarian Assistance programme offers means and surplus property to Croatian areas needing such aid. Since 1997, the ODC has offered assistance for 198 military persons through the IMET programme, signed contracts worth US$100,000 through FMS, and offered humanitarian aid to Croatia worth US$727,000. Major Richard Liebl currently heads the ODC. Awaiting higher activity in the FMS programme, the ODC will soon appoint a permanent representative to the M-7 Supply and Contracting Management at Croatia's Defence Ministry. (hina) ha mm
