CROATIAN NAIVE ARTISTS TO PRESENT WORKS AT INT. SHOW IN BRATISLAVA

ZAGREB, July 20 (Hina) - Paintings of four Croatian 'Naive' artists - Ivan Generalic, Matija Skurjeni, Ivan Rabuzin and Darko Jurak - will be presented during an international exhibition called "Insita-2000-Naiva, Art Brut And Outsider Art", due to be held in Bratislava from 16 November 2000 to 28 February 2001, the Croatian Naive Art Museum reported last Thursday. The show will be held under the motto "Art Without Frontiers". Each of the aforementioned artists will give his five famous works to be put on display in the Slovakian capital on that occasion. In addition, the Croatian contemporary art will be represented by sculptures made by Kresimir Trumbetas. A part of the exhibition, dedicated to the contemporary art (works made since 1977), will draw about 30 artists. Insita is a great triennial exhibition which takes place in Bratislava.(hina) ms
