ZAGREB ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - The central event of the 34th international folklore festival in Croatia, took place at 'Trg Gradec' Square in the downtown Zagreb on Saturday evening. This year's festival is dedicated to carnivals and
Shrove Tuesday customs. It drew participants from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Slovenia, besides Croatian groups. On behalf of the sponsor - the Croatian national parliament (Sabor) - Sabor Speaker Zlatko Tomcic addressed the central event and thanked organisers and participants for their efforts to preserve their cultural heritage and present it to the city of Zagreb.
