SARAJEVO, July 21 (Hina) - Lt. Gen. Atif Dudakovic on Friday assumed command of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina Army's Joint Command, replacing General Rasim Delic who retires on August 1. The transfer of duty was held in
Sarajevo and attended by senior BH officials headed by Presidency chairman Alija Izetbegovic. "I expect the new commander to pursue with the work which has been begun," said Izetbegovic, adding this meant BH needed an armed force capable of defending the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The new commander said he intended to work on enhancing the federal army's combat readiness, and supporting processes aimed at establishing a uniform BH armed force. At present, BH's two entities each has its own army. Lt. Gen.
