PULA, July 10 (Hina) - A total of seven persons were injured, of whom a tourist from the Netherlands suffered serious injuries, in a hurricane which took place in the night between Saturday and Sunday on the northern Adriatic
peninsula of Istria, particularly in the area of the town of Rovinj, Istria police reported Monday. Trees, torn down by the wind caused damage to 77 foreign and 14 domestic vehicles. The wind has torn down 1,500 trees. Due to the wind force, numerous roofs of houses and chimneys also suffered damage. Employees of Rovinj utility companies have been working on the reconstruction of the consequences of the storm. A commission which is to establish damage is to be formed.(hina) it jn
